Privacy policy

Last updated: 31 May 2026

SECR Reporting ("we", "us") is an introduction service that connects UK companies with vetted SECR specialists. This policy explains, in plain English, what personal data we collect and what we do with it.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry we collect the details you give us — typically your name, work email, company name and any message — and basic technical data (such as the page you came from). We do not ask for sensitive personal data.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details to match you with, and introduce you to, a SECR specialist who can help with your enquiry. Our lawful basis is your consent, given when you submit the form, and our legitimate interest in operating the introduction service.

Who we share it with

We share your enquiry with the single SECR specialist we match you with, so they can contact you. We do not sell your details to marketing lists or pass them to multiple firms. We also use trusted processors to run the website and email (for example our hosting, database and email providers).

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to make the introduction and for our own record-keeping, after which they are deleted. You can ask us to delete your details at any time.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your data, and object to processing. To exercise any right, or to complain, contact us using the details below. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
